Information For Librarians

We encourage research librarians to list this journal among their library's electronic journal holdings.

The Wabash Center Journal on Teaching is an online, open-access, peer-reviewed journal on teaching in the fields of religion and theological studies in higher education.

The Wabash Center has edited the Wiley-Blackwell journal, Teaching Theology & Religion (TTR ) since 1997, and will complete that work with the October 2019 issue (22:4). The manuscripts to be published in TTR  through that date are already in the editorial review process.

Beginning in the fall of 2018 the same editorial team that produced Teaching Theology and Religion will begin soliciting and collecting manuscripts for the inaugural issue of The Wabash Center Journal on Teaching scheduled for January 2020.

New manuscripts submitted to our editorial team beginning in Fall 2018 will enter the same peer-reviewed editorial review process that was employed when we edited TTR, but will culminate in publication in The Wabash Center Journal on Teaching.

The best preview of the sorts of articles that will be published in The Wabash Center Journal on Teaching can be found by sampling the manuscripts currently being published in Teaching Theology & Religion (some content available without subscription).

The full content of this open-access journal will be freely available online -- free both for authors and readers. And authors retain full copyright of their published manuscript.

In addition, it may be worth noting that this journal's open source publishing system is suitable for libraries to host for their faculty members to use with journals they are involved in editing (see Open Journal Systems).
