How Evangelism in the Early Church Can Inform Contemporary Practice

Abstract
The early Church made its mark on the ancient world through ordinary believers preaching the gospel and practically living out its implications. The writings of the Church fathers can help us to see how early Christians did this difficult work of convincing unbelievers of the truth of Christ and welcoming them into the fold.
