The Great Commission Baptist Journal of Missions (GCBJM) (ISSN: 2831-7777) is the missionary journal of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. The journal is practitioner-driven and peer-reviewed. It provides a platform for missionaries on the field and missiologists to engage in conversations about a variety of topics related to the missionary task.

The journal’s primary audience is missionaries on the field, though missionaries-in-training, missionary trainers, and churches participating in missions will also benefit.

Each issue of the journal will include a feature article, several articles addressing a common theme, resource reviews, and a Q&A with field practitioners. Articles will be written by field missionaries and mission partners. Reviews will be of resources that have particular value to missionary work and life.

Publication Frequency

GCBJM publishes issues twice a year.
