Zane Pratt
Zane Pratt has served as Vice President for Assessment, Deployment, and Training with the IMB since 2015. Prior to that, he and his family served overseas, primarily in Central Asia, for 23 years. He is also Associate Professor of Christian Mission at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a BA in Religion and History from Duke University, an MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and is a PhD candidate at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Anthony Witten*
Dr. Anthony Witten is a theological strategist and church planter in Southeast Asia.  He has a PhD in Christian Missions from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Dr. Witten has served with the IMB for 20 years.

Lucy Witten*
Lucy Witten has a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  She is passionate about women’s evangelism and discipleship through the local church.  Mrs. Witten has served with the IMB for 20 years in Southeast Asia.

Chuck Lawless
Dr. Chuck Lawless is Dean of Doctoral Studies and Vice-President of Spiritual Formation and Ministry Centers at Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, where he also serves as Professor of Evangelism and Missions. In addition, he is Team Leader for Theological Education Strategists for the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. Dr. Lawless was awarded an MDiv and a PhD in Evangelism/Church Growth from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Caron Johnson
Caron Johnson has served in the Americas for 30 years. She holds a BS in Elementary Education from Georgetown College.  She is passionate about discipleship and training the next generation of Brazilian leaders. She teaches Theological English.

Tiffany Brewer
Tiffany served with the IMB for 2 years as a Journeyman in the American Affinity and for 10 years at the home office.  She has an Undergraduate Degree in Education from Southwest Baptist University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Missouri State University.  She is currently a Technology Product Analyst for the Training Team and serves alongside her husband in Missions at Second Baptist Church, Springfield, MO.

Editorial Board

Mark Johnson
Dr. W. Mark Johnson holds a Ph.D. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has been serving in the Americas for 30 years.  He currently lives in Brazil and serves as Team Leader for the Theological Education Team working in Brazil. W. Mark and the Brazil Theological Education Team partner with the Brazilian Baptist Convention to serve and prepare the next generation of Great Commission servants to go to the nations.

Jonathan Martyn*
Dr. Jonathan Martyn serves with the IMB as a theological education strategist in Asia. He serves as full time professor at two seminaries and is Associate Provost at one of them. He has a PhD from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served with the IMB for ten years.

Preston Pearce
Dr. Preston Pearce is the IMB’s Theological Education Strategist for Eurasia. He seeks to facilitate healthy theological education at all levels to promote healthy churches and gospel advance. He has served in Central and Eastern Europe for 27 years and is currently based in Prague, Czech Republic. He has a PhD in Theology from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.

Kevin Rodgers
Dr. Kevin Rodgers holds a Ph.D. in Missions from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and has been serving in Sub-Saharan Africa for 25 years. He currently lives in Kenya and serves as the Theological Education Associate for the SSAP affinity. His work in theological education and African missionary training is integral to the affinity’s vision of equipping African churches to send African missionaries to the ends of the earth.
