DEI, OER, Information Literacy and Library Ethical Imperatives

Abstract
Discusses ethical imperatives that emerge for libraries involving diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), open educational resources (OER), and information literacy. Provides some historical context regarding the so-called "Open Movement" and explains how it relates to academic libraries, especially in terms of ethics. How DEI, OER, and information literacy interrelate, and when combined create an ethical imperative, is illustrated.
